Fees
Hexio takes nothing out of your wallet.
Platform fee
There isn't one. Hexio does not charge a fee on your trades and does not deduct anything from your balance, your fills, or your winnings.
We are paid through Polymarket's builder program. Orders placed here carry Hexio's builder code, and Polymarket pays us for routing the order. That arrangement is between Hexio and Polymarket — it is settled on their side, not taken out of yours.
Polymarket taker fee
Polymarket charges their own fee on taker orders (orders that cross the spread and fill immediately). This is set by Polymarket, not us, and it is the only trading fee you pay.
| Order type | Hexio fee | Polymarket taker fee |
|---|---|---|
| Market | None | Yes — taker |
| Limit | None | Depends — taker if crosses spread, maker if rests |
| Auto | None | Skipped — always posts as maker |
Auto orders always rest on the book at the best bid or ask, so they never pay the Polymarket taker fee. That's one of the main reasons to use them.

What costs money
Only the Data API plans, which are opt-in and billed separately. Nothing on the trading side is metered or charged.
Gas
All transactions happen on Polygon. Gas costs exist but are negligible — usually fractions of a cent. Much less than what you'd pay on Ethereum mainnet.
